Re: copyright of novel

To protect your work, copyright registration is not mandatory under copyright act of 1957. If you register the copyright that will be the prima facie evidence of your right over the work. As soon you bring your idea into a tangible form the copyright over that work automatic comes into existence. But if you want a foolproof protection then go for copyright registration otherwise there is no need to get copyright registration. Your copyright over your creative work is already there. Dont forget to mention the disclaimer of copyright at initial pages of your book and who hold the copyright, the author of the book or the publisher. For further detail, agreements with publisher and copyright registration I can be reached at [email protected]

Re: copyright of novel

Procedure is quite simply. Only necessary form along with accompanying documents, the work, and draft of fees have to be sumbitted to the copyright office.

It is not necessary or compulsory to have copyright registered.

Can contact personally in case of difficulty
