Worksman Compensation
An Contract worker (Female) met with an accident at the time of working she dropped the Acid bottle and her leg was affected in 2006. Now she has sent a petition for compensation. What has to be done

She should be paid adequately as per the Workers' Compensation Act or better you settle the dispute out of court.

Civil Court or the Wage Commissioner is the forum whose jurisdiction can be invoked. Before making any petition in above forums, employer may be served notice first. If appropriate relief is not granted, then official forums may be invoked.
