If a person enters into an agreement to pay a debt to a collection service,that has been listed with a credit reporting bureau,isthe collection service required by law to report payments made?

The creditor is supposed to report when the debt is paid in full. If the creditor does not report the debt as being paid in full, you can use the Fair Credit Reporting Act to fix your credit report.
