Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I was served a notice that a collections company is requesting a default judgment. I filed a request for an extension to file my answer, but now I don't know how to answer the summons. I will be filing bankruptcy, I am unemployed, and I would like to hold them off as long as possible.

You don't have any time to wait or hold anybody off. Go to your attorney, review the bankruptcy steps and start your proceedings. There is absolutely no good reason to wait any longer.
