Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

Neighbor's Barking Dogs

I bought my house over a year ago; the neighbors that rented the house next door did not have a dog and only one, well-behaved child. The new renters who moved in about a month ago have 2 dogs and keep several different children at the house. The children range in number from 2-10 at various times; they are constantly dragging trash and items into my yard which I throw back into their yard after they are done playing. The children aren't nearly as disruptive as the dogs who constantly bark any time I am outside. I've not been able to locate the local ordinances regarding barking dogs, but I believe they do exist. What options do I have regarding the noisy dogs and unruly children?

That will depend on the ordinances. You might want to contact the city of Shelbyville about the dogs. I assume you have not spoken with the adults about this problem.
