Slip and fall in Parking lot

I recently broke my ankle and required surgery due to falling on ice in the parking lot of a recreational basketball gym. There were circumstances that led to me being in the lot not by my decision. They provided me with their medical forms to fill out for their insurance. I just recently found out that I will not be paid by work for the next 5 weeks until I return and I need to know what action if any I should explore to regain my lost pay.

If the rec center is not your employer you will need to hire an attorney to pursue an injury claim.
