Legal Question in Social Security Law in Indiana
my grandpa was a cab driver and earned 50% of income from tips. He told me he paid extra SS (social security) so he would have a bigger check in retirement. is there truth to this or is based on average income? I guess what am asking is ss based on what you earned or what you paid into it.
