Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

guardianship?

by request of my father i moved to my mothers house. and now i would like to move to another residence to finish my high school career. my mom is giving me permission but we're not sure if my dad would allow it. do we need to file guardianship? and if we do would my dad need to sign also?

He has to approve. Guardianship has little or nothing to do with it. If you're under 18, he's involved.
