Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

My co is closing Aug 31. They are offering a Voluntary furlough with furlough pay and rcall opportunity for 5 years payable lump sum 45 days after close plus 3mo paid insurance. Can I stll collect unemployment? If so do I apply Sept 1or 45 days later?

Also, do they have to pay unused sick days? I live in Iowa.

I think you need to contact the office of the Labor Commissioner for answers to those questions. It's outside my area of practice.
