Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Iowa

My puppy just got spayed today and while she was 'under' they also took two baby teeth that 'needed to come out' without my permission and now they are expecting me to pay $60 dollars for it. I am refusing to pay since they did not ask my permission and did not give my ok to do the procedure. Can they do this?

Maybe they aren't entitled to collect on something that you did not ask for, but you have to decide whether it's worth the hit your credit rating is going to take for refusing to pay. It will get reported, you know.
