Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Iowa

Public Masterbation

While driving down the highway, I was pulled over by the County Sheriff. He told me that there had been a report that I had been masturbating while passing a vehicle. He then asked me If I had been masturbating. I responded by telling him that I had not, as I hadn't. He then took my drivers license, registration, and insurance. Following checking these he gave me back my drivers license, registration, etc. and told me that I may get something in the mail. He then asked if there was anything I wanted to tell him. My question is, what might I expect to hear from the sheriff, and how do I prove that I was in fact not masturbating while passing this vehicle.

Re: Public Masterbation

I have no idea and without knowing to what he was referring it would be impossible to speculate. As for the proof question, the State must prove the crime; the citizen is not required to disprove the allegation.
