Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Kansas

I enrolled at a college and ended up not attending the University for disclosed reason and I'm being charged for the classes $3400 even though I didn't attend a single day. Should I be billed for this?

Whether you owe the bill is determined upon several factors. Who is collecting (school -vs- financial aid lender), what you signed to enroll, and how you dropped out. Basically, if you did not officially drop the courses by the third class date, you owe for the entire class. Because you never attended any classes, you might be able to avoid some materials and lab fees. It may be profitable for you to hire an attorney to negotiate with the collector for you.. At the least, you should consult with a civil practice attorney in your area to look over your paperwork, and give you advice specific to the facts of your matter.

Good luck
