I have an idea for a website. It has the potential to be very successful. I am new to this and no nothing about business or website developing. What should I do before talking to anyone, (web designers, investors, ect.)?

You can't copyright or trademark an idea. If you have something more concrete, you may want to seek a copyright or trademark. Otherwise, you can draft a non-disclosure agreement for anyone who you meet with to sign prior to working with you. That would be about the best you could do.
