Fired then invited to an office party
I was forced to resign from a non-profit after complaining to the board regarding difference of pay between men and women. I was escorted out and told that I was not allowed back on the property. 6 months later I was invited to an office retirement party. The non-profit rents two properties, the main office building and one building for training. Each building is on a different street. The office party is at the training building. I do not want trouble - but the would-be retiree called to see if I was going because ''it would mean the world'' to her as have others at the office. Legally I am barred from the main office only or both offices?

Both. Make arrangments with the retiree to celebrate somewhere else at a different time.
