Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

i need to break a tenants lease and move back in my house. is there anyway to do this legally? i wanted to give a 90 day notice and double their deposit return. if they refuse, is there anything i can do? does the state of la. have any law that a homeowner can live back in their house as long as they give a 60 day notice? thanks... There really isn't any way you can do that. The lease cuts both ways. That being said, if they won't work with you, you should read your lease carefully and learn all of their responsibilities and deadlines. You could evict as soon as any lease term is violated, like if rent is one day late, if they fail to mow the lawn, whatever.
