Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maine

I've Been Married for almost five years and am trying to apply for a green card, but my visa has expired and have a three old son. Currently my wife doesn't make enough, we were told we needed a co-sponsor and nobody is willing to sponsor.what's the best thing to do ?

If this is a marriage-based application for adjustment of status (green card), your wife (petitioner) must petition for you with no exceptions. If you work, your income can be added up to your wife's income. Yes, a joint sponsor maybe required. Other significant assets can be used to supplement low income, etc.
