Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland
My company truck was recently side swiped while parked in front of my house. I was told I was responsible for the bill of $1510 for the repairs and would have $500 taken out of my check each week until paid off. I just found out that the incident was turned into company insurance and the body shop where repaired was paid by the insurance.

Taking money out of a paycheck for anything other than taxes and agreed insurance and the like is a serious violation of wage and hour laws in Maryland, and may entitle you to treble damages and attorney's fees. See a lawyer.
