Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

19 months old baby

I've been separated from my since husband 6 months ago. We signed a separation agreement. We have a 19months old baby and he sees her twice per week and on sundays 3 to 4hours but this last sunday he took her for 7 hours and she didn't take nap and all her schedules were changed. Of course she did not sleep at night, she was crying and very uncomfortbale.

Is there any way I can explain to him that because of her age, she can't be out with him for too long?

Re: 19 months old baby

If your agreement specifies a time period for Sunday, then he should adhere to that. If he won't cooperate, then tell him you aren't going to allow him to take her from your home.

If the agreement is unclear as to the hours of visitation on Sunday, then you will have to discuss this with him and try and convince him to adhere to that schedule for your daughter's well being. If he won't, you may have to seek a court order.
