Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Can you tell me how to get legal guardianship of my niece? both parents are deported and I don't want my niece to go to a strange person. Please help.

You will have to file a petition for guardianship in the circuit court of your county. This is a procedure for which you should seek the assistance of an attorney who is familiar with the process, as there are a number of steps that have to be followed to be successful.
