Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

I am working at a government facility as a contractor. Recently I accidentally found some soft files on the share drive and they stated some situations in the 5Ws 1H format. The files were created by one of our colleagues and the content was about some colleagues, including me, and a long list of incidents that probably upset him. However, I could see that the way he wrote them was very manipulative and most were not true. The things he wrote about me were very insulting and I felt harassed. Also, the file has been in our network share drive for 5 years. He is working for the fed and now he is kind of a manager. I reported it to my company manager and I am waiting for them to take action. Can I sue him individually?
