Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

I have a codo in maryland the foundation was leaking and cause damages. The mangement paid for a sump pump to be put in are there responsaible for the damages to carpet, tile, paint, drywall from contractor and water damage ?

It depends. If the condo is governed by a Declaration, the terms of the Declaration will control. I strongly recommend that you consult a Maryland attorney who can discuss with you the specifics of your case.

Pursuant to Maryland Real Property Article the Condominium is responsible for structural problems and their insurance should cover the repair of the foundation and repair to your dry wall, tile and paint.
