Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

How do I find out if I have a criminal record?

About 10 to 11 years ago I was arrested for having sex in a public park. The charges were reduced to a lesser charge. The attorney explained to me that was was like peeing in a public park. How do I find out exactly was the final decision was and if it still on my record. Will it be always on my record? Thanks.

You can go to the court where the case was handled and ask for a copy of your docket sheet--that will show the resolution of the case. In terms of your record--you can apply to the CORI board for a copy of your record. Please contact me further if you have any other questions. Martha Kovner
