Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

Unemployment compensation

I was fired after 9 years at the same co. for often being ''late'' for work.Have been like that since the beginning. I am also the only older person (60) working at this level and only one with full benefits and was at the cap of payscale. It is well known that ADD is a problem for me & I work hard to stay in control. I feel I was targeted. Now I can't collect unemployment. Replaced with younger people who start at minimum wage and uneligable for benefits.I complied with plan to be on time.On time for 5 weeks. Was to be reviewed .Not done, even when I asked. One week later I misread schedule and came in 1 hour late because I was confused by the schedule. although on time for shift I thought I was on. Following week I was 12 min late when I actually should have called in sick but I couldn't because too close to beginning of shift, was sent home.Fired next day.5 weeks now and no unemployment because it needs to be mediated because I was fired. No money for medication or even xmas . Have missed bill payments due to no income.I do look for work and phone in each week but still no word from mediator .Now my 59 year old husband is uninsured. Can I do anything more?

Forgot,1st COBRA payment $1250 and I can't manage it with noincome
