Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

legal rights for an adult who has a handicapped parent ,who has a legal guardian

I have a mother who has cerebral palsey, who had an court appointed guardian until last fall,in which I did not even hear about the court date for this until the evening before, and it was by the courts when I called to make a complaint against the people that she was staying with because they would not let her talk to me.I was told I was sopposed to get court papers, and these people were sopposed to let me know about it,and they never did,as they also did not let any other family member know until the day before, now she is being left alone at nights while these guardians go away for the week-end ,which is every week-end,They will not let me talk to her most of the time,I was told when thay see my # on their phone, they will not answer it.They come into town whre I live, and I have begged them to bring her to my home so I can visit, and they won`t.I just found out that the legal guardian is my aunt (who raised me),and if anything happens to me ,then her husband will have legal guardianship.I am her daughter, what are MY rights to be able to see her, talk to her on the phone ,and even get her to be able to live with me?

Your lawyer can ask the judge to appoint you as the new guardian.
