michigan juvenile probation laws

if a 13 year old juvenile is on probation in the state of michigan, what can be done so his grandfather can have him for the summer in the state of IN

It depends on the terms of your probation and whether they require your son to not leave the state. Even if they require him to stay in the state during his probation, you can ask his probation officer for permission to visit Indiana, and he will likely request the address and contact information for where your son will be staying (this all depends on the probation officer, the seriousness of his offense, etc.).

The juvenile's lawyer should ask the judge for permission.
