Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Non custodial parent is moving out of michigan

My fiance' has full physical custody of his 2 daughters and joint legal. His ex wife is now talking about moving out of state. Per the divorce he can't move more than 100 miles or out of state without courts permission. Does this apply to her also? If she moves, would it be possible to have this restriction lifted off of us?

Since she is the non-custodial parent, the rule does not apply to her, although you might need the Court to help you figure out parenting time arrangements. The restriction would not automatically be lifted for you, but you could file a Motion with the Court to allow you to move further. Good luck.
