Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

Warrant in another state

I have a warrant in the state of AZ which I thought I had taken care of 10 years ago. I live in MN. They say the only way to take care of it is to go to AZ to fix this. I want to get it taken care of (as I was the one who contacted them) but I can not afford travel there to get thrown in jail in AZ. I would rather have court up here to handle the problem. What can I do?

Re: Warrant in another state

You must contact a lawyer in Arizona and that attorney can tell you if it is possible to quash the warrant and schedule a court appearance on the underlying offense.

Ultimately, it is likely you will have to travel to Arizona for a court appearance to resolve the matter.
