Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Tell me would this justify supervised visitation?

We have full physical and legal custody of my step-son who is 8 and autistic. He was with mother for weekend and he got out of the house at night wound up at a Kwik Trip at 1:15a.m.Cops came took him back there, she didn't even wake when police entered house, they had to shake her awake.County thinks not her fault. We suspect drugs and definitely alcohol related, every weekend she has him she is in the bar's drinking.

Re: Tell me would this justify supervised visitation?

Maybe. Whether or not a court imposes conditrions related to parenting time depends entirely on how compelling you make your case in court. You would certainly wish to demonstrate that alcohol or other substances were involved and, as part of the Motion, seek a chemical dependency evaluation.
