Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

How long does an employer have to send my personnel file?

I was terminated from a job and, in writing, requested a copy of my personnel file, a truthful reason for discharge, and a copy of the employee handbook.

Does my previous employer have to send that information within a certain time frame and if so, what is that time frame under MN law?

The time for response after request is made in writing is 10 days.

Personnel file should be available immediately.
