Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota

My boyfriend passed away and in his will he gave me all that was his in his estate. He rented from me,owned a crappy truck worth 800.00. Has a loan on a car he bought for me. He was a retired service member, and on disability. He own one credit card in his name, now they are asking me as estate manager to pay his credit card. Am I obligated by some law to pay his debt?

You are only required to pay the debt from any assets of the estate. You have no personal obligation.
