Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Ok, so I just did 3 years for trafficing (drugs) and now I'm on parole and about

2 months ago I was pulled over. The officer said my tints were too dark and

wrote me a ticket. My tints are no where near over the legal limit in Missouri but in addition

the officer searched me (I was unaware of the right to deny) and was caught with 6 grams of

crack cocaine. The officer has given me six months to snitch and give him a lead to

someone but he's still going to turn this in the prosecuting attorney. I've now

found a job and am trying to make an honest living but I still have this mistake hanging

over my head which could possibly get me locked right back up for even longer and taken

away from my two children who need me most. Please help! Tell me if I have a chance at beating

this case, getting it thrown out, if you think I might have to do some type of time, how long,

or what you think I should do and what the outcome might most likely be. Do you think I

should cooperate with the officer and snitch on someone? I'm going to hire an

attorney but I need some serious advice without all the legal consultation fees.

Why did the officer search your car after writing you a ticket for tinted windows? Did he/she state any reason for doing so? Were you under arrest at the time? I am reluctant to have a client become a police informant unless: 1) It is clearly in the best interest of the client, especially as to avoiding jail time, and 2) We have a clear understanding with the prosecutor and the police as to what all parties will and will not do. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss this further.

I would be glad to advise you and represent upon the payment of a retainer fee int he amount of $10,000.00, but then you are asking for help in your situation after the mistakes you have made "without all the legal conultation fees." Good luck.,
