Is your son facing this latest charge in state court or in a county court or in a municipal court. Ranges of punishment vary with the answer to this question, as well as on the exact details of his prior charges. In any event, your son needs to hire the very best criminal defense lawyer he can afford. He is in serious trouble due to his prior record, and his trouble avoiding charges such as this one. I have handled hundreds of DUI and related charges over the course of the thirty-two years I have been practicing law. If this new charge is pending in the Eastern part of the state, I might be able to help your son myself. Please feel free to have him call me if he would like a free telephone consultation.
