Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My 18 year old daughter is pregnant. She has a low IQ, ADHD, and mental retardation. She can't take care of the child by herself. She wants me to either get legal custody of my grandchild or adopt it. What can I do?

You might be able to do either one of the above, or something in between, like guardianship, but it may depend a lot on the biological father's intentions. Contact me on Monday. I'm in Joplin and adoptions and custody issues like this are the main areas of my practice.
