Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

I have a question on a civil suite i was served. I worked for a small aviation parts broker in the Kansas City, MO. area. I worked from my home in Kansas. I had no contracts or non-compete aggreements. My other problem, after going to one mediation meeting and agreeing to supply all material asked for to bring an end to it, the company decided to go ahead and go to court. In order to do this the lawyer i was using wants at least 100,000.00 to gog to court. I dont have this kind of money. I am looking for another lawyer that i might be able to afford. What do i do if i cant find a lawyer i have the money for?
