Trip time in the workplace

I work in an amusement park where we are assigned different positions in various merchandise and food stores around the park. To work, we must first sign out a uniform and receive work tickets, IDs, etc. At the end of the day, our supervisor says he must clock us out (sign us out on our ticket) before we leave our assigned work area. We are then required to walk across the park to change and turn in our uniforms, work tickets, IDs, etc. without getting paid for this extra time. In many cases, the trip alone can take up to fifteen minutes (1/4 of an hour).

Is it legal to not pay us for the trip time between the place where we are required to sign out/in uniforms and other materials and our actual work destination? What about the time spent actually doing these things?
