Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Guardian in case of parents death

My husband and I would like my brother and his wife to raise our daughter if we should both die. They have already agreed. We live in Nevada; they live in Georgia. Is there any kind of form my husband I can get notarized or do we have to see a lawyer.

Re: Guardian in case of parents death

A will can nominate proposed guardians after your death. If you don't use a will, you can write it out but it does need to be notarized.
