Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

i am currently paying child support for my daughter that i have not seen because the mother is not following the divorce decree, and i am required to provide insurance coverage for my daughter in addition to the child support payments. but i have no information for her, social, address- nothing. how can i get the court to understand that and take that off as a stipulation?

You need to file a Motion for Visitation or even a change of custody. While child support and visitation are not linked, ie. just because you don't get visitation doesn't mean you get to stop paying child support and insurance, it sucks that you don't get to see your daughter. The longer you wait, the worse it looks for you because a judge might expect you to aggressively seek your visitation. The bottom line is that you have to pay support and insurance until your ex does so much that effectively, she has terminated your parental rights. The case that stands for that proposition, Dad did not see his child for 8 years, Mom told the child that Dad was dead, etc.
