''vacating''

In the public records about my court case it says ''vacated per law clerk'' about my case. what does that mean?

If there was a motion pending and the other side did not file a timely opposition, under the local rules, the judge can grant the motion as being unopposed and vacate the hearing. The law clerk's job is to keep track of the motions and those without an opposition.
