If a person files bankruptcy and owns a business as a sole proprietor can that person still operate his or her business? Can that person stop doing the current business and start an new one?

Thanks for your help

Need a lot more information but generally when you file bankruptcy the Trustee owns your assets (with some exceptions) and you will need his permission to continue with the business. Don't try to do this without an attorney. It is not much money generally--In NH usually a flat for of no more than $1000.
