Affidavits

I need to know if affidavits have to be notarized or are they OK to use in court as is.

By definition, an affidavit is sworn to and needs be notarized. If its your affidavit you can probably have the clerk or someone at the court do it for you. If its the affidavit of another person, they need to have it notarized. Most banks have someone who can notarize a document for you.
