Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Hampshire

Evidence falsified

I took in a family member when she was destitute. She later received a large insurance settlement and gave me a monetary gift for having helped her. She has sinced sued for return of the money. I would gladly have made arrangements to repay, however, she has lied about numerous other things in this case, including, but not limited to, saying that I threw her out and converted her property. In deposition and interrogatories she lied numerous times under oath. She also falsified checks submitted as evidence by writing loan in the memo lines and saying that she wrote loan at the time that the original check as written. I have copies of the original checks showing that nothing was written in the memo line. I also have receipts showing that a number of these checks were reimbursments for large bills that I paid for her. She blatantly continues to lie in the face of all this evidence. I fully acknowledge the money that she gave me (as a gift) but the rest is a lie. Even her own lawyer admits how bad she looks. Yet we still are in legal process over this and have mediation scheduled. How can she get away with all these perjuries and falsifications and still have a case? What recourse do we have?
