Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Subpoena for Information

I have received a subpoena for information for a judgement that was entered for credit card debt in the amount of $14,000. Is it possible to avoid sending the required information and deal with the law firm directly to settle this debt? Is it likely that a lesser amount or monthly payments would be accepted at this stage to avoid a wage garnishment?

Re: Subpoena for Information

You will want to make a payment arrangment with them which makes sense for you.

Call me if you need an attorney to help with that process.

You are required to respond to the informantion subpoena; you may want a lawyer's asssitance before giving that information.
