Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

My Wife is being sued for not paying a credit card. We don't have the money right now.

The letter shows that if a judgment is entered against my wife a special civil part officer may seize your money, wages or personal property to pay all or part of the judgment and the judgment is valid for 20 years.

I did try to set up a payment plan but they wanted more money than I was able to afford.
