Legal Question in Entertainment Law in New Jersey
looking to start a film production company.
I have just finished a script and need to
get it copywritten, to protect my
intellectual property. I also need help
with righta and clearences as this is an
''adult'' feature, thatr I hope will be
distributed in film festivals before
hitting DVD shelves, going against the
traditional type of release for this
genre. It is more about art, than
money, as well as changing the genre
and advancing my brand. SO, I guess I
also need a lawyer who is a bit of an
entertainment agent as well. I would
like to get started on all of this asap.

We can easily assist you with copyrighting your script. Regarding rights and clearances, these issues are typically handled once your script is optioned by a producer prior to production.
