Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I have a current NJ court order that allows my ex to spend time with our children. The children are 14 & 12. When they visit, they fight and it turns violent. The oldest has run away while with him. The children no longer wish to travel to visit their biological father. Can I have the current order changed? The children want their step father to adopt them. Is this possible?

Change visitation because he physically fights with them? Good Lord, yes. It will take a court motion to change that, which I can do for you.

Cutting him out and having their stepfather adopt takes more work.

Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and I will go over this with you, and give you some advice. I will let you know up front what it will cost for me to help you.

I can see from your zip code it is a long drive to my office; call me and let's see what I can do for you. No charge for the call or the first meeting.
