refinance/alimony

I'm considering filing for divorce after 11yrs of separation.Wife is recieveing SSI 2 kids out of college,1 to go and she wants to keep house. Do I refinance to remove leins that I incurred before I file for divorce? She will ask for alimony I'm sure will leins be calculated in alimony agreement.

Before you do anything, you really should see an attorney. There are a lot of issues here and nothing anyone says on this board can really help you because you cannot handle issues in a vacuum; everything must be reviewed at the same time.

Do not do anything without conferring with an attorney. She may want the house but it may be sold and the net proceeds split between you.
