Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Can a civil court award other than monetary damages? More specifically, I had a live-in girlfriend that after mutual TRO's finally left. Prior to leaving we reached an agreement as to what she was entitled to. She took thousands of dollars of items that were my personal possessions. Can a civil court order her to return the items or only to repay damages?

Good Lord, that is pretty miserable. She stole from you after you and she worked out an agreement?

Let's talk about the legal situation: it is possible in some cases to have the Court order her to return items to you. I would need to speak to you in detail to see whether you can do this successfully.

I have handled several cases exactly like yours, money and property taken by a boyfriend/girlfriend from their girlfriend/boyfriend. I can advise you in this.

Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and let's get moving on this for you.
