The dealer is responsible for guarding your vehicle. The issue of the contents is less clear. You may have signed a proposal for repairs that makes them not liable for the contents or that may be aprt of their conditions of repair. Normally, when someone takes possession of another's property for payment, they are responsible. There may also be a statute or administrative code.

I suggest that you discuss with the dealership. Give them a list of items and damages and ask them to reimburse you. Document everything. Good luck. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
