Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Accused of Crossing double yellow lines in Edison, NJ

I was pulled over this morning when making a left hand turn down a street that didn't have double yellow line to turn. The cop was sitting behind a car, Stop sign was blocking his view as well and there was fog. (I printed out from weather.com the weather report for the area within and hour of the ticket that states fog). The cop wrote the wrong color of my car on the ticket and didn't put a complete street address just one word the ''Name'' of the street (e.g., ''Wood'') no ave, street, BLVD. I didn't say word to him I just handed my car info. He stated when leaving that he did me a big favor because I had committed over three other serous violations. I didn't do what he accused me of. Any suggestions on how to fight. I have no points not even a parking ticket.

Re: Accused of Crossing double yellow lines in Edison, NJ

If you did not commit the offense you are charged with then you always have the right to fight the ticket in court by requesting a trial. At the trial the state (police, prosecutor) will have to prove the charge against you. I am an attorney who has handled very many cases similar to yours in various municipal courts throughout New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. Please contact me. There is never any charge for simply talking to me about a case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
