Writ

My husband was sentenced to willard dtc and he did not get there in the required amount of time and he wants to file a writ so i need to know what forms and how to fill them out

What kind of writ are you looking to file? Mandamus? Habeas Corpus? Look in actuality, you really need to see a lawyer who knows about the prison system. A criminal lawyer who handles prison petitions may be your guy. If you need a reccomendation to one in your area, call or e-mail me, or contact the NYS Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers located in Manhattan. They will have the name of someone good.
